Tuorla

In connection with the dormitory lies the Hobby centre, where students can spend their free-time on weeknights. The Hobby centre has e.g. a billiard table, different magazines and games, a television room, club room, game room and the offices of the dormitory manager/free-time instructor and the rooms for the student body.

Other free-time spaces include a gym and a Ping-Pong table. In addition the students have the possibility to use the computer classroom at nights. The exercise hall can be booked for floorball, basketball and other sports. In the evenings there are different trips and courses, such as fabric printing, technology club, karate, kick boxing, movie nights and theatre and game trips based on the wishes and ideas of the students.

The student body of our institute is extremely active. Every autumn in the annual meeting a board is selected for the student body, which represents the students, gives statements and makes motions in matters related to studies and free-time. The board of the student body organises together with the other students e.g. sauna and game nights and different kinds of fund raisers.

Paimio

The Paimio site has a billiard table and a weight lifting room. The students also have the possibility to take up airgun shooting. Every week the Tuorla site has an exercise hall turn, in connection of which it is possible to use the weight lifting room. Those so inclined have the possibility to go to the movies, ice hockey games, etc. with the school car accompanied by a supervisor. A trip to the Paimio centre is organised weekly by the school, where you can do your shopping or spend time with a hobby. The sauna is available Tuesdays and Thursdays.
